    hey, lynn –

nice to meet you a few weeks ago! my friend ed, who you also met that night, bakes a lot and is checking out logan square kitchen to do some work.

anyway, i was wondering if there are “official” logan square trick or treat hours? i’m guessing during the day saturday, but never heard for sure.

rachelle: Nice to meet you too at Summer Sessions, and I’m glad Ed discovered Logan Square Kitchen. Hope it works out.

Regarding Halloween official hours, I don’t think there are any. When it’s during the week, trick or treaters usually come out after school usually until real darkness hits, except perhaps for a few coveted streets. But with it being on a Saturday this year, I don’t know (or recall from past years) how it will work. My best guess would be around the same time, 3-7 p.m. or so.

    Anyone else know? ~ Lynn

Thanks for highlighting this great FREE event!

In addition to the great pumpkins and activities at Pumpkinfest 2009, there will also be a special limited edition plush created by Logans Square’s own shawnimals available for sale to help benefit the work of the Unity Park Advisory Council.

Let me just say that it is way coool……
