Fifteen months ago in Milwaukee Avenue/Logan Square identity, I polled readers on whether or not Milwaukee Avenue has an identity?  As I write this (I have never closed the poll), 58% of those responding say it does.

I was reminded of the issue from a post at Rebuilding Place in the Urban Space, and I’m still wondering what that identity is for the blocks between Logan Boulevard and Diversey Avenue, or what you identify with it.

One Response to Identity?

Lynn – This is off-topic, but remember when we met at summer sessions? My friend Ed was there as well? He just finally launched his new business venture – a bakery, The Baked Escape. He uses Logan Square Kitchen for his kitchen. It’s not on Milwaukee (he lives on Kedzie) but is still a Logan Sq. business. He’s been baking for us for many years… so I can attest to how good his pies and cakes are!

Rachelle, Thanks for introducing The Baked Escape. It looks yummy! ~ Lynn
