Logan Square at the Chicago International Film Festival

Logan Square native and filmmaker Carmen Marron returns to her Chicago roots for the showing of her coming-of-age film, Go For It!, at the Chicago International Film Festival.  The film will be shown at the AMC River East on October 9, 14 and 16.

Since Marron grew up in Logan Square, you might say the neighborhood landed a walk on role.  Parts of the movie were filmed in Logan Square (see Logan Square Auditorium and the Logan Square monument in the teaser video above), in neighboring Bucktown and Wicker Park, and in Pilsen.
